Ok so i have the following graphix card:- http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-266-AS&groupid=701&catid=1914&subcat=

(Asus GTX560 TI for you lazy people)

Basically I already have a water loop for my cpu, but i would like to extend it. Now according to CoolingConfig they do not plan on making a full coverage block for this card. (http://www.coolingconfigurator.com/step1_complist?gpu_gpus=372)

This means theat the only way for me to Watercool my GFX card i have to use a universal partial GPU only cooler. which brings me to my problem, how do I cool my VRAM/other parts of the board?

TL;DR - how do i cool a GTX560ti with a partial WC block.

Thanks
Rob

If you look at the fan/heatsinks you should see that the existing fan/heatsink doesn't actually cool the VRAM but only the GPU

Apparently 560ti VRAM doesn't need cooling

take the cooler off, chances are, there is some sort of metal plate there, but the 560Ti VRAM could be ok if it has good airflow and stays at stock speeds.

I'd still use a metal plate

Well i managed to get the cooler off my PNY GTX560Ti today and it seems like the Vram Are cooled, well they have thermal pads on them and sandwich to the plate that the heatsink is attached to. There is also thermal pads on the smaller chips towards the back of the card (VRM's) and on the other side of the metal plate they have a bit of a heatsink (That i am assuming is cooled by the fan. I take it these also need cooling.. Will passive ramsinks do? I had a major problem in the past and blew up my 4870 when i installed the Trad2 and one of the VRM's was slightly missed by the ramsink and pop!
