Hi guys,

I have really bad stuttering every 2 -3 seconds in most games (source engine games, the new Deus ex and any older game) but only when I turn vysnc on where the fps seem to fall from 60 to 59 briefly, tripple buffer doesnt seem to help.

With vsync off its smooth as silk, but the fps goes through the roof increases gpu load and heat unnecessarily.

Any ideas what the problem may be? ive tried all different drivers, reseated and swapped round the cards and sli bridge to no avail,

Any help or advice would be much appreciated,

Brief System spec:

i7 920 @ 4.0ghz
Asus p6t
2 x GTX 560TI 1gb
700w coolermaster modular psu

Can't you turn off v-sync and cap the fps in game?

Have you tried d3d overider instead of using v-zync in game? not sure it will make a difference but worth a try.

welcome to the world of SLI.

sell both and get a 570 or if possible a 580.

Fortunately im within time to return them as unwanted, as i think getting a 580 is the answer.

Ive run SLi without problems before and messed about with profiles etc but i cant get these one to work consistently.
