GTX 570 @ 800/2000 Low Max FPS In Heaven 2.1 Bench, Only P5545 3DMark Basic ?

As per the title, is this normal ?

I'm getting 26-28 Min FPS On the Heaven 2.1 Bench @ Default 1920x1080, Max FPS are 60-64. Score :- 800-950 ?

Seems low, the Max FPS do anyway.

Score on 3DMark 11 Basic :- P5545, not too bad but it appears to be lower then other users with lesser specs ?

My Specs :-

i5 2500K @ 4.5GHz
GTX 570 @ 800/2000
XMS3 DDR3 1600MHz
Used a 50" Samsung 3DTV 1080p

My 570 is clocked the same with a i7 860 at 3.8 and i get 5584 so i thought you would have got a higher score.

Can you post a screen of GPU-Z showing your cards specs, FPS does look low for an 800Mhz 570, although the 1680x1050 res results look about right.

That's my 480 result below @ 850 core, you should be hitting 50-55 FPS at 800 core.

Is it normal for the idle clocks to be this low (As below) ?



Tried running the benchmark at default clocks @ 1920x1080 aswell, made little difference. When doing the 1920x1080 bench Stero 3D was enabled in the control panel but not enabled in Heaven, this won't effect it will it ?

Try a run with 3D disabled, that's all I can think is causing the drop in performance. Yeah the clocks drop real low when the GPU is idle.

Will have to give that a whirl tomorrow then, the beta driver 266.35 is ok to use then ?

Specs look ok then ? Will update this thread tomorrow when I've tried a couple of things.

1st run of Heaven is always low. Run it again immediately after you get the first bench result and your min FPS should shoot up. I benched my 580 @ stock and got min 41fps on the second run. I think the first was in the twenties. Your 570 @ 800 should be pretty close to my 580 at stock.

Your 3Dmark11 looks fine. It is about 200 points ahead of my first stock 580 bench here.

edit: Your scores do seem a little low. Are you sure your overclock is sticking? Check what score do you get at stock.

Right, got chance to go through this again today, things are looking better ! First thing I did was update DirectX, for some reason I had a few missing ddls so i downloaded the latest update and that sloved that. The second thing I did was I disabled Kaspersky while running the benches. The third thing I did was disabling Stero 3D, now I don't know doing which of these helped but one did so I'm happy. My score still isn't as good as some here but it's nearly there. Heaven and GPU-Z screens below, one thing it is normal for memory to show as 1000 right as it is effectivly double ?

Temps got upto 82 Degrees C @ 58% Speed with a core of 797.3 (Any reason this isn't getting to 800 ?) 1000 Memory (2000?) and 1600 shader, these temps ok ?
