GTX 570 problems

Ive recently built a gaming rig and after some help from OCUK members seem to have it running well...

1 Problem... My MSI GTX 570 isnt being picked up by win 7 64.

I've had it pick it up but only with error code 43 and lots of dots n weird stuff on screen.

Any help will be very much appreciated.
 
You may have had some software come with the card, if not it doesn't matter. Download MSI Afterburner to check temps. Riva Tuner is another one that'll do a similar job as well.

in device manager it says standard vga. and when i install a new nvidia driver it either doesnt install with error "cant find a nvidia gpu" or it restarts with dots all over the screen.

i took it round to a friends and tried it, he has 2 450's and when i put mine in his machine it did exactly the same.

think it mite be the ram on the card that's goosed so think im gonna have to send it back.

Do you agree?
