Shall i get a 580 and get another later for SLI or wait and get a 590 or..?

Thanks guys just another question if im going for SLI can i have 2 different brands of 580's or have they got to be the same
 
Is it possible to SLI Asus GeForce GTX 580 Matrix Platinum with another 580? Seems abit big for it.
 
You will be able to depending on the spacing of the PCIe lanes on your motherboard, believe the Asus is a 3 slot card, standard cards with a reference cooler are only 2 slots so easier to fit on a motherboard in sli.
Depending on your motherboard and case cooling it can be better to get a reference card that exhausts the hot air out the back of the case due to the fact that the fancy non reference coolers with dual fans that some manufactures fit struggle if you've got the cards in sli with no space between the cards, the top card gets suffocated through lack of air :(
