GTX 580 SLi HELP

So the question or should I say questions are:

Do I spend best part of £800 on GTX580 sli now with the ever impending future releases around the corner?


Also Should I get

MSI GTX 580 Twin Frozr II

or

Asus Matrix GTX 580 Platinum in 580.

Issues I have heard is Asus cards depend on your board and the MSI's can get too hot.

Neither, if you are going SLI get reference design cards. That way with the rear exhaust they won't spend all day recycling each other's heat.

I have two of the EVGA reference GTX580 cards in a Antec 902 and they idle at 34c-36c and at load never go over 70c.
