I'm waiting for kepler, no dual GPU card for me. Not as if my 480 can't run any game at decent FPS.

Regarding the 590, yeah should easily be the fastest card on the planet.

i really wanted a ati 6990 ive been ati for about 4 years now but my gut instinct tells me to hold off and i'll be in a better position to spend the money as well as i'll be getting paid soonish as well. rather then red lineing my card tonight

also i've wanted to jump over to nvidia for a change so i hope it is more powerful i love both companies just time for a change i think.

I can't wait for the 590 to be released! Not because I want to buy it... it's because the prices for other cards should go down a bit

6970 CF would seem to tell the majority of the story...

And there are some benches in one of the 6990 threads.

I mean look at 460 which is now about £120 and I remember it being well expensive not long ago...

my 465 was 150 quid

never realised how good it was until i sold my ati 5970 its a little beast makes me question why i need one of these massive cards but i have more money then sense.... oh wait i dont even have more money

I spent so much money on my setup back when everything I have was just coming out that I think I should get my head checked.... well at least that's what all my friends at work said

sticking with the 6950 flashed CF [still having issues tho] so no need for the 6990 down clocked version, besides i get better cooling with two separate cards [i would have thought you would anyway]

cant really go wrong with 2x6950s for £400

not that id ever buy nvidia again but the 590 will be interesting

same ere i don't regret it at all what i do regret though coming back to building pc's is the addiction to buying new things! lol i said the ati 5970 would be my last upgrade was it ? nah then came more ram now one of these cards now i'm already planning to upgrade to ivy bridge at the end of this year its all getting abit out of control lol.

2x6950s for £400 while you get ONE 580 for roughly that price.... I'm still gonna stick with nvidia... they must have brainwashed me or summin'

If the GTX 590 has the same performance as 580GTX SLI and is not priced stupidly then i will be buying one.

BUT nvidia Dont have much of a track record when it comes to a Single card with 2 GPU's on it whereas ATI do...

Plus the fact the 580GTX uses far to much power and is far to big a core to fit 2 on a single PCB.

MSI had a dual 560GTX version if im correct, i think it will just about surpass a single 580gtx.

Yea you can get a single 580GTX for the same as 2 x 6950's But the Crossfire 6950 performs Much much better.
