This new card has been out quite some, why isn't it popular on the web, it's not even here on this forum or around much online, by now there should be loads of varients; just like the 580

The 590 is nearly £600 to buy give or take a bit it is an insane amount of money for one video card when you can build an entire system for that sort of cash.

It falls in to my category of "forget that for a game of soldiers" or words to that effect

yea' i was suspicious because it's been out for ages yet it's nowhere on the web or even here, 600 quid is ridiculous.

Because anyone with any sense buys GTX470 SLI if they don't need the VRAM and a pair of 3Gig 580s if they do need the VRAM (gonna have to put the money up if you want super high res/multi panel gaming).

Same here, quite cool running compared to my previous sli gtx 275's. Power isnt that much of a concern either tbh, few quid on top of the leccy bill isnt gonna break the bank.

isn't a couple of 3gig 580s a bit of overkill, i thought that one would be good enough :cool:

all i want is a super powerful pc, one monitor only and decent framerates for CRYSIS WARHEAD/ RAGE and DOOM 4, yes i said DOOM 4

lol, I love the "dual GPU setups are evil" crowd.

I would admit that an SLI or crossfire setup in the early days was a headache to say the least, but I would never look back now.
