Hi guys,
I've recently bought a desktop with a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 WindForce 2X 2048MB GDDR5, and I've been encountering some strange graphical glitches whenever I play games - namely a mixture of Texture flickering (black texture flickering under real texture, similar to Z-fighting) and some form of artifacts (spikes / triangles shooting off from models and characters).
Here are some screenshots which might help - :

(Rift running at Optimized Settings suggested by Nvidia GeForce Experience)

(Issues remain in both windowed mode and full screen mode - switching between doesn't improve anything.)

the GPU spec
and also a video that may be of use...

Anyway, the card has been tested on both Rift (DX9) and Assassin's Creed III (DX11), so that probably rules out DirectX issues.
This happens even on a cold boot, so that probably rules out thermal issues as well - gpu temperature was around 42C, plus there are 5 installed fans so it is a well ventilated rig.
The driver is most up to date, I have also tried rolling back to no avail; 3D settings have been jiggled here and there in Nvidia control panel, also tried putting settings down to the minimum possible in the games, yet the problem still persists. Also tried turning Vsync on and off, and setting Adaptive Vsync to rule out the possibility of tearing / "more framerates than monitor can produce per second".
The computer only arrived on Friday so the graphics card is pretty much brand new straight out of the box. All I can think of right now is faulty card, but I hope that's not the case and that you guys might have some ideas!
System specs:
Processor: Intel Core i7-4770K 3.50Ghz
Motherboard: Asus Z87-A motherboard (tried placing graphics card in a different slot, still the same, so guess that rules out the PCI slot itself)
PSU: Corsair Enthusiast Series TX850M 850W Power Supply
Ram: 8GB DDR3
Windows: 7 Professional
Thanks!
