GTX 670 from GTX 570 a worthy upgrade?

Just few days ago i put my gxt 570 in MM,as its no longer capable of what i want (not that its bad card,its really capable in basically all games) but im very sensitive to FPS,and in BF3 it just not enough for my eyes,also i got 1600p monitor,so i must get something new...tomorrow will be ordering either 7950 or 7970 (this one depends on price)

What are the AMD drivers generally like now? I remember being pushed towards to Nvidia years ago due to apparently terrible driver support from ATI. Surely it can't be that bad still?
 
Drivers are cool :)

Tbh though, a 670 does seem to offer quite a healthy boost over the 570 according to the anandtech bench.
So would a 7950, but there isn't a huge difference between them.
 
and a 7950 can be easily pushed to 7970 level :)
i am more green team rather than red,but prices dictated my choice
also i like sometimes play with settings,so benching
i should get my card on Wed,will leave my "report" about amd drivers etc :)
