GTX 670 Problem

I ordered an MSI 670 to replace my ageing 5850 and after using a driver wiper to remove my ATI drivers, I installed it.

Without overclocking, I ran Heaven, but it kept crashing after a few stages.
I tried to play CODBLOPS2, but it would crash after every few maps as well.

Tonight I did a complete wipe and tried again, but Heaven still crashes, though it does get through about twice as many stages as before.

Card temps are fine and never went above 60C.

My system was rock solid with my 5850, so does this point to a faulty card?

it could be leftover stuff causing problems wether he has driver-swept or not.

Nope, I did a complete reload tonight and am still having the problems.
I've tried a different driver version like Ian suggested, but no go.
Going to underclock the card next.

underclock your core about 100mhz to see if its stable.

Thanks for that! Underclocking = a perfectly stable card, which obviously means that it cannot run a the speeds it was sold at. I'm going to request an RMA.

Also, out of interest what asic quality is yours? (download gpuz if you haven't got it and right click on the top of the window and select asic reading)

Mine is even lower @ 61.4%.

Shows how much a little difference can make.

62% = Just barely able to run at advertised clock speeds.
61.4% = Cannot run at advertised clock speeds.
