GTX 670 SLI or bundle upgrade?

So, I was thinking about upgrading my PC recently, since BF4 is just around a corner. BF4 Beta runs ok, with 50-70 stable fps on high/medium (hopefully retail version will be better optimized).

Currently I'm running:

i7 930 @ 3.8 GHz
Asus P6X58D Premium
GTX 670
6GB DOMINATOR GT TRI-DDR3 2000MHz
160GB Intel SSD
CORSAIR 850W PSU

What would be the best move for me?
Buy another GTX 670 and SLI those babies? Or buy a bundle like this one --> http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-159-OE&groupid=43&catid=2512

Or both?
Will my PSU be enough for SLI?
Will it be enough for the bundle or bundle + SLI?

Need a bit of an advice here.

As kaku says below, getting a second 670 will offer a much greater performance boost. :) But two 670's will indeed be bottlenecked by the 930, though I shouldnt imagine it would be too bad of a bottleneck as the 930 is still a great chip all things considered.

As far as the core system upgrade goes, you could leave it until funds have refreshed and then get it done. You will do better for your money if you buy individual parts and overclock yourself though. :)

YOUR BASKET
1 x Intel Core i7-4770K 3.50GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail £259.99
1 x Gigabyte Z87X-D3H Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard £119.99
1 x Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz Dual Channel Memory Kit (CML8GX3M2B1600C11) £59.99
1 x Thermalright Silver Arrow SB-E SE CPU Cooler TY-143 Fans £59.99
Total : £510.76 (includes shipping : £9.00).

SLi 670s will bottleneck, but it'll be a larger improvement than getting the 4770k and having one 670.

Get the second 670, then get the bundle later once funds have recovered =P

Or that. Grab a second 670 and see if you can squeeze any more out of the i7. :)

My 920 showed significant bottlenecking in BF3 with 680sli at 3.8 HT on or 4.11 HT off.
Made the switch (x79) and utilisation went from 65-70 to 85-90.

Just saying.

Of course not all games will be like this. So you will benefit in other titles, but BF has been mentioned by the OP.

Thank you, guys, for responding. I guess I'll go with bundle + SLI.

Quick question tho. Are those parts listed above significantly better than https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-159-OE ?
Will it be worth my time to actually OC myself or should I just buy the bundle that comes with the same price?

The parts I listed include a far superior cooler and what is (in my opinion) a more feature rich and generally better motherboard. I also think that the parts I listed would look more aesthetically pleasing, but if both bundles are clocked the same the only difference you will notice is CPU temperature. :)

I suppose having a pre-set 4.4GHz OC is nice. Personally I would get the parts list with the huge Thermalright cooler and go for my own overclock, but that's not for everyone.

Id go with the second 670 first. Yes the cpu will bottleneck a bit, but it will be fine until you upgrade the rest of the system. Ive found with my 930 i get 80% gpu usage, 90% ono cpu usage. On my 4770k cpu use of 65% ono, gpu's upto 99%. Power draw is around 550w running 3dm11 with the cards oc'd at +80/+600.

Yeah, ordered the bundle already.

Now thinking what should I do next... I've got 3 options really:

1) Buy another gtx 670 and SLI
2) Sell the one I've got and maybe buy myself single gtx 780
3) Wait and hope prices to drop when radeon 290x comes out

Can't decide what to do... This new radeon is around the corner... It should be as powerful as 780 (or even better) and will definitely come with better price.

Which 670 model do you have? I might be looking for another one shortly ;)

Also if you don't mind going the AMD route the new Sapphire 280x Toxic is looking to be a beast and would be a good step forward.

But I guess price wise another 670 is the cheapest option for best performance.

KFA2 GeForce GTX 670 EX OC 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

Bought it in June, so kinda brand new.

The only thing I worry about is this whole microstuttering and the fact that a lot of games doesn't like SLI.
I've never had SLI, but after reading about it a bit, there's a lot of people that would advise against it. So, I'm kinda torn.

I believe microstuttering is now a thing of the past. I've personally never noticed any problems over the last year or so, even more so with Nvidia cards.
