Do both GPUs have to have the exact same BIOS in order to work properly? I connected an SLI bridge last night and since then I've been unable to launch into games properly and have been getting green bars across my screen, before i connected them together it was fine. Thinking i might either have a bad bridge or a bad card.

no, you can run any two 670's in SLI, they can have different bios' or be entirely different brands / cards / clocks etc.
try reinstalling the bridge, disabling and re-enabling SLI in control panel, rebooting etc.
even try different drivers / different games etc.

I had this on a pair of 580's one time
I'd installed everything, booted the PC, it had loaded the drivers and then I jumped straight in to a game... tried all sorts but in the end, stopping moving things and just rebooting the PC a few times with SLI disabled, then enabling SLI then rebooting again sorted it for me
test the new card on it's own to check it works when it's the only card in your machine, then try the above
but yes, you could also just have a dodgy SLI bridge

I'm pretty sure It's the SLI bridge causing me problems. I tried my new 670 in slot 1 and it works fine but when i attach the bridge and enable SLI I get green bars when launching a game. Where can I get a decent bridge from, I bought this one from amazon and reading the reviews now others have had the same problem as me.
