GTX 670 upgrade while offers on? or wait for new range?

As title says, is it better to upgrade now and snap up a bargain or wait for the new range? I play in 1080p fyi.

What will £300 buy me in the new range and is it going to be better than a r9 290? that is the dilemma i have atm. I never follow the prices after I make a purchase so not sure if the r9 290 will stay a bargain and cease to exist as the stock gets snapped up? or if it will go back up in price?

GTX 670 2gig
128gb SSD

are you getting low fps @ 1080p with a 670? if no, then no point upgrading as you won't see a difference?
