Anyone have any idea of what thickness pads I need to order for the various areas on the block as I'll be putting a loop together again soon

Cheers

Search in EK cooling configurator and pick the block for your card.

Then in the installation guide of that block you will see the pad thickness for various parts of the PCB

I have a HeatKiller block, are they def going to be the same spec with regard to distance between the block and the various areas that require cooling?

Might be worth an e-mail to heatkiller, My aquacomputer block only used pads on the VRM's, on the memory chips I had to use thermal compound.

To be fair it took me a while to find it. EK is top of the results each time this was on the third page :D.

I didn't even know Google had a third page .

No worries :). They didn't have a manual with it? Was it second hand or something?

I know GPU watercooling is a bit specialist but it's a bit silly to expect people to just know how they fit :D.

Brand new from a shop that still stocks them, I guess only the box has been opened as the block itself still seems sealed in its bag. Returned item maybe and the manual was misplaced? Not too bothered I have replaced GPU heat sinks before, watercooling blocks aren't too different.
