It seems the GTX 690 can only run 10-20 FPS in that game. When will we reach enough graphics power to play it at a solid 60+?

Its true running the 2D tests in Performance Test 7 show that the GTX 690 is the worst card I have ever owned for 2D.

Unfortunitely I like playing minesweeper.

I get minesweeper and play it on rockbox. Naked man playing minesweeper I do not get and wish I never saw.

Very true, minesweeper is very memory intensive, especially if you mod it.

Does minesweeper even use the GPU? I always thought the Windows games where CPU/Software rendered.

Just given minesweeper a go max framerate = 31 fps.

Anyone want to see if they can top my awsome 31 score.

Is it quad card optimised though? I will bench this bad boy of a game and might even see how 'hearts' fairs on my single GPU.

I suppose we'd best stick to the standards of most gamers. 1080p. Although I can definitely see the advantages of eyefinity minesweeper, the extra peripheral vision would really help tactical awareness.

I'm honestly just appalled by the latest Nvidia drivers regarding minesweeper performance.
