Hello everyone,

I currently have a GTX760 card, what's been great don't get me wrong. but I think I'm going to do an upgrade for future games coming out.

I was just wondering what would be best, either purchasing another GTX760 and running them on SLI. Or should I sell the GTX760 and purchase a single GTX780?

If you plan on staying at 1080P or are at 1080P, SLI 760's would be good but you have to consider the extra heat, noise and power usage if you have or intend to go 1440P or above, the 780 would be good.

As Greg says, 760 sli will be grand for the time being at 1080p. Theyre quite similair in performance to 670's, (had sli 670 here). Power wise your looking at 500w ono in games, (game dependent of course). Good board spacing and using reference cooled cards will help with cooling.

I moved from the 670's to the 780 in sig, my max fps are down a bit but minimum and average are very similair in games i play. My main reason for going to a 780 was the extra vram.

For what it's worth I run 660sli which is going to be pretty similiar and I'm exceptionally happy. I'm yet to find anything they cant max at 1920*1200 so 760 sli should be plenty poweful for a little while to come :)

The only thing to watch out for is VRAM, I downscale quite a lot of my games from 2560*1600 and I occasionally get close to the 2GB of RAM limit, so it probably wont be long before games start hitting that and might cause a problem if you ever want to go to a bigger screen.

Yes I am currently running on 1080p and don't tend to be going any further until 4k prices drop :D I think I'll be ordering another 760 then! Cheers lads.
