just bought this card, havent had chance to tinker yet but cant seem to find any info about overclocking it.
i know it is a rebranded 670 but with a newer GK104 silicon which should improve its overclocking.

just cant seem to find anyone else who has tried.
has anyone any experience with overclocking this card?

thanks

i shall do just that, thanks :-)

have you any idea how this card would stack against an r9 270x?
a friend offered to sell me one but i cant seem to find any comparisons between the two cards
Not worth it, 760(Non-Ti) and 270X are pretty close with the 760 often taking the lead, 'Ti' cards are usually ~10% faster than their non-Ti counterparts so it'll faster than a 270X in pretty much everything at that point.

yeah i just noticed, plus the older 670 card which the 760 ti is based on is a bit better than the 760 already.
what software would you use for overclocking?
being an oem card for alienware i dont know if i will be able to get the alienware overclocking software. i should be able to get the drivers from nvidia, do they have overclocking capabilities?
im actually working away at the moment so havent had chance to tinker yet

Get drivers from nvidia's website. They allow for overclocking.

Personally I recommend msi afterburner for overclocking. It's fairly intuitive to use and comes with a bunch of extra features.
