18 year old nephew has asked for a GC upgrade (from what he has in the thread title)

Budget? £150 mark, which is what I usually spend on GC's.

Thought about this:

I'm certain he wont be fussed, as long as its better than his little brothers R9 280X.

I need said card before the weekend, as he lives 50 miles away & in this instance I want to fit it in his PC then, as I'll probably be working on little brothers PC on Xmas day knowing my luck

Also tempted by the 1050ti but I feel it wont be enough of an upgrade.

Thoughts?

At that budget you can't get better the the 470 you linked...

I would get the 480 though for 50 more .

I'm paying for his driving test as well & my wallet will be emptied even more, when his little brother wants an upgrade too - Teenage boys and PC upgrades are expensive.

Thanks for the advice on the 470, I'll probably buy tomorrow if & when the hitman game offer is included.
