Hi,
Love the new GTX, ty. had to change the 500w PSU for the 650w i had stashed in my spare rig, dont ask...I didnt know it was only 500w. one question tho..... trying to play GTA IV and it will only let me play at 600x800, what do i need to do to play in 1080?

AMD fx 8150 8 core 3.6 mhz
geforce gtx 770
16 GB RAM DDR3
Windows 7 64 bit

right click on GTA4, select properties, then select launch options

copy and paste this into the field that comes up

-nomemrestrict -norestrictions

Firstly, get a GPU with more than 4MB! :D

GTA has a problem recognising the amount of memory on cards with over 2GB of VRAM, so assumes it's too low and won't allow you to alter settings.

If you're launching the game from Steam, right click the game and select Properties > Launch Options, then add -norestrictions -nomemrestrict

If you're not launching from Steam, right click the Shortcut and change the Target to "C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV\LaunchGTAIV.exe" -norestrictions -nomemrestrict

EDIT - curse my slow typing! Beaten to it by Shankly.

It's all good your post was much better. :D but am the genius though :p

I cant believe how an extra 150w of power does, on my old radeon 69xx and 500w PSU the top of the PC was hot, now its cold

That's probably because you have a better GPU/PSU not because it takes more current (In fact more current would heat things up more!).
