Hey,

I have had the Inno3D GeForce GTX 780 iChill HerculeZ X3 Ultra DHS Edition for about 2 months.

i was playing Elder Scrolls Online when my screen suddenly went grey - I could still hear everything, but couldn't do anything (task manager etc) I rebooted.

When I turn my Pc on, I get to the 'Starting Windows' section (win 7) and it freezes for about 20 seconds. After that, my monitor will lose detection on HDMI 1. It gains detection again, but the resolution is 800X600 with strange colours.

If I uninstall the drivers, it boots fine. As soon as I install the drivers again..bam, problems.

I had no overheating issues before hand, always running afterburner

Any help?

EDIT

Event viewer is showing 'nvlddmkm' error. I have tried an older driver version (331.82) same issues

i had exactly same problems with my GTX 480 when it died, wasnt because of temps too, had zalman cooler on it, topped max 65C. Also had same event viewer error :/

Hope mine isnt dying, only had it a few months.

try using just a DVI cable instead of a HDMI, when you install the drivers?

Tried both hdmi and dvi

Have you tried older drivers?

Tried the latest, and 2 other sets (making sure i wipe all others before hand)

Will do.

Luckily I still have my old GPU. Now to go through the annoying process of having to send it back. (i.e. finding time to go to the post office)
