Hi,

Finally had a bit of time to mess about with sli 780 setup and have a question about the clock speeds. When my system starts (8.1) both gpu's show a speed of 324 but after a few mins will sit at 1019 and stay there regardless of gpu usage. Is this normal or driver related? Should the cards not be running at idle clocks when ...um idling?

Thnx

Using W8.1, GTX 670 and dual screens, I get the same problems. The clock speeds keep jumping up then settling almost constantly, no matter what programs are running.

I use "Nvidia Inspector" which has a utility which sets the idle clocks at all times unless GPU usage rises above a % you define. It works well, keeps the temp and power usage down.

It might be worth checking that out.
