hi guys just recently bought a 780 ti matrix

& what im experiencing is stuttering while gaming and about half way through the game the game will crash hardlock and I will have to alt/del/tab to close it, sometimes it hardlocks and I will have to hard reset.. funny thing is this also happened with the 970s I had.. but it was much more pronounced

the card lasts longer if I set an aggressive fan profile..

I have changed my RAM.. still happened
deleted all drivers and reinstalled old drivers .. still happened
used spare PSU cables.. & it still happens..

my 780 sli was mint and so smooth

I have googled this issue and noticed people complaining about the same issues but with a 780 ti Ghz windforce card..

not sure what to do, any suggestions anyone?

first of all, why did you downgrade?

second of all... seems like a driver issue to me. have you used DDU at all to uninstall the drivers in safe mode then reboot and install the latest drivers... once you have used DDU to uninstall, run a program like CCleaner to get rid of anything else left over after the uninstall.

more or likely a driver conflict as before you were running sli but now only one card... PC might not like it and might want a another 780ti :P

yes already used that program, but I didn't use safemode

yes also used ccleaner

I wanted a change from my 780s.. plus I got a good price for them

I thought 780ti would be a good move.. :o

Glad you've git this sorted, but why on earth would you swap from 780 SLI to just one 780ti. That's an absolutely massive downgrade. Unless you're planning to go SLI Ti? (Which is what I use).
