Tempted to buy one myself, but what's the chance of these cards being less than £400 in 5 months time, £400 loss in value on 2 cards, plus 2nd hand sale, same as the GTX 780 = £540 loss my side.

Don't be, that card will likely be sufficient for most things you throw at it. It's all very well a new faster card coming out but if you're already maxing out games and getting smooth FPS then the only thing you'll have to show for your money is a higher Heaven score.

I would say no Trox. Unless you are happy to pay the extra for a small fps gain or you want to bench hard and get high bench scores of course
