***GTX 780 Ti Owners Thread***

I had the same problem, then realized i had my sound card in the wrong slot, meaning my GFX card was running at 8x pcie. switched it to a x1 slot and now the GFX card is running at 16x speed.

Don't think you will notice any diff between the two speeds.

They are cool and quiet cards! ;-) Overclocked to 1225, top temp 65 deg. Wow.

Just ran GPUZ and noticed my bus Interface says PCI-E 2.0 x 16 @ x8 2.0. Does this mean its sitting in a x16 slot running at only x8, or something else to be worried about ??

Quick question, has anyone experienced coil whine on their 780 Ti?

I just got mine the other day and went into a game (Euro Truck Simulator 2) and on the menu screen the screeching was unbelievable. I had a 680 in previously an there wasn't a peep out of it. I opened up something else, Kerbal Space Program and didn't seem to get a sound. Very odd. Very concerning on a £500 card too ofc.

I get a tiny bit, but not much. I have to press my head to the case to hear it, though it does get louder when I OC.
It's normal for it to happen on game menus.

I'll try and record it. See if you guys think it's acceptable or if it's worth an RMA or something.

I seem to be having a run of bad luck with my PC at the moment actually. Stuck case screws, suicidal wifi and now screeching 780s lol. I am scared to touch it for fear it's going to spontaneously combust next or something :P /rant

Batman Arkham City maxxed out @ 1920x1200 is a good test for just how fast these cards are........ yep its that's fast  it can max this game out with PhysX & every single Gfx setting to the max like DX11 etc etc

It makes it into another game literally as it removes all the stuttering so you can now glide across the entire city with zero slowdowns its a great experience ....finally!!
