***GTX 780 Ti Owners Thread***

I decided against it as it's only against reference cards which I do not see as a big step.

From what 780 mate?

I currently have the Classified which I have the hydro water block for. Cost of STEPUP is only delivery.

Not sure if I want to part with my card... If only there was a comparison review hehe

I've wrote this in another thread. But my 780 Ti clocks to 1238/2000.

The memory is stable at 2000. tried 2050 but it crashed after 2 runs. I rec the sweet spot will be 2025-2040 for the memory.

Those clocks scores 1800 in heaven 4.0

Pretty happy with it considering its all on stock voltage.

Its also a shame that the 1.3v hacks don't downclock at idle. It'll always be on my mind that the card is running at 1.3v even on the desktop :/ Awell..

Need to get a block on it ASAP! :D

My 780Ti Superclock only manages about +75mhz and +300mhz on the memory.

Gives roughly 1152/7.7Ghz

Cards seems to hit the power target limit well before anything else. Adding +75mv doesn't seem to stabilise a higher overclock either though it is hard to say with precision X.

I might try switching Kboost on and try that way.

780 Classi mate, a stable at 1300 classi. Really not sure it's worth the £80. There is a sort of comparison on 8 packs thread but his was clocked higher than mine.

Plus he wasn't using a reference ti from what I see as clock says 1005 and ref says base 876. Not that I understand the core and boost clocks as my classi was boosting past what it was supposed to anyway as stock.

Has anyone experienced what is know "Coil Whine" on these cards? I got the MSI Twin Frozr gaming edition 780 the other day and i have been hearing a strange whine noise when under load. I have read that it may the a poorly regulated PSU. I have a XFX 850w Modular PSU.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Chris

Nothing special here but just throwing a stock GTX 780 Ti on 2560x1440 benchmark.

Separate from this - is there a view on Gigabyte's OC Guru II software? Get the impression most people are going Bios / MSI / EVGA route for OC software.

I've put Precision X on instead as it seems that is a weapon of choice for people. Will see if I can attain what others have been looking at with the stock cooler.

Oh is that max clock? I was just wondering because I've just managed 1721 on my 780 so I thought it looked a tad low, unless it's stock.

Correct yes, otherwise I'd have a world record air clocker lol. I didn't make it very clear though sorry.

That makes a lot more sense! I can try and have a fiddle with mine on 1080p but it's not native res.

I'm new to the GPU OC game so being cautious with what I do.
