gtx 780 windforce 3x rev question

hi is there a way of telling which rev of the card you have is it by what bios came with it ? i am seriously thinking of flashing my bios and want to make sure i have all the correct information. this will be my first ever gpu bios flash and i want to make sure i get it right because as cool as a gtx780 doorstop would look i really dont want one.

Rev 2 uses two 8 pin pcie connectors, 6 and 8 pin connectors on the rev 1. Got both models here.

Which one overclocks the best ?

The rev 2 does 1202mhz on the core, other does 1197mhz.

are they custom bios or stock

Both are on stock bios. I don't oc them for games tbh as the top one runs too hot at stock.

Also use Gpuz see if its a A1 or B1 , Rev 2's came with both types

ok thanks for the advice ive got the matching bios might wait till after crimbo till i do it though cause if it goes wrong i might have some of the cash by then to try and replace it lol
