GTX 880

Lol it will be far more than £250. Probably more like £460 - £500

It will also apparently be called the GTX980 because NVIDIA are skipping GTX8XX for desktop graphics.

It looks like they're skipping the 800 series and going straight to the 900... Estimated mid sept last I heard.

The price of the 295x2 will have no bearing on what NVidia will charge.

why so expensive when estimates say 400$ ?
And im buying for ARMA 3, it runs better on nvidia cards

will be interesting to see how they are priced with the 295x price being so relatively low.

We've no idea how much the 295X might cost if/when it gets released - if it's even called that. The 295X2 is a dual-card solution (2 290X's) so isn't aiming at the same target audience so pricing isn't all that closely related.

I think we'll see the 970 at £300-370 and 980 at £420-500 with a titan 2 to follow first half of next year at £850.

That's what I'm expecting, I've decided to keep my 290x over the winter (it makes my PC double as a hot air blower) and then I'll be ready for the Titan II next year (I doubt that'll be the name though, I think Titan Z killed the brand personally).
