Hey guys, I mentioned it briefly in a couple of other threads but im getting an issue with my 970 whereby it will crash my PC very shortly after my monitor going black screen with the following message of 'no signal detected'. The fans on the GPU remain to be functioning normal however the whole machine just crashes. I get this when playing Skyrim without fail within 15 mins to a multitude of other games, some that stress the PC others that shouldn't, I can't seem to think of where a pattern may be.

I ran MSI Kombuster to check everything was fine and sure enough it was great. No errors after an hour of running with stable FPS, temps and so on.

I noticed yesterday after one of my 5(!) crashes that upon the PC restarting it was INCREDIBLY laggy. This made me again open up Kombuster and for some reason my card was only getting 35% power usage. This had to be the issue as when I restarted the PC again from there the power usage was back up to 100% and the machine was not lagging.

I have noticed that my power % on the card during use does actually exceed 100%. I have RivaTuner set to 100 as the max but its running anywhere up to 105% power usage. Could this be an issue?

Also I noticed during the two crashes I had from Skyrim that the power % and GPU usage % went sky high well into the thousands. I presume this is also linked?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks guys!

I should have added my specs:
