Been using my EVGA sc since release. It's running great. My problem is overclocking. I want to try some nice Overclocks.

I can get as high as 400 on the memory without instant crashing. Completes a run through valley bm.

So I settled for 50core 250mem. Even this low oc (compared to everything g I have seen from others) makes my driver crash and reset the OC after a good 2-5 hour gaming sesh (some of that is afk ofcourse lol).

What do you think could be the problem? MSI afterburner only allows +37 mV. Even with this at max it still crashes.

My asic is pretty high 65%+.

Am I missing something? I want a nice stable overclock into the 100s core and 350+ mem. Is it just my card being **** or am I not knowledgable enough about OC?

If you had it since release i assume you have samsung GDDR5,those clocks your using arnt high at all and i would expect would be fine on stock volts on the majority of cards.

Sounds like your gettin the power state switching issue, where your crashing when gpu load massivley fluctuates and the cards dynamic clocks change, when it switches from sub-3d clocks bak to 3d clocks the voltage increase lags behind, thus you get random crashes.

Thats why your stable in Heaven on a constant loop,as your GPU never leaves the max power state

I have this problem,its a pain.You have a few options.

1.Set power management to always maximum performance in NVCP,this seems to work moderately well, but still not 100% imo
2.Flash your GPU with a custom bios
3.Enable Kboost in EVGA percision before you load a game, forces your card to run at highest clock and power state

That doesn't seem right. I had an MSI and Asus 970 before and could OC both to around +180 core, +400mem stable in games. Hopefully someone with your specific card and more knowledge about these things can help you out.

I have been messing with the evga OC program so I can use that. Just don't like the osd not working in my game... Archeage.

Will do that kboost thing then.

Do you think I could be pushing 100+ on the core and over 400 on the memory easily?

seems my gpu wont go 75 on the core without artifacts. this was with kboost.

im using kboost now to see if that helps with the driver crashes.
