Just after a quick bit of advice.
I sold my Gigabyte GTX 970 on an auction site when I upgraded to a 1070. The card worked perfectly O.K and the buyer has confirmed the card is working O.K but he wants to return it as it will not run in SLI with his FE card.
As I never used the card in SLI I cannot confirm if it was working but I have no reason to think there was a problem, it worked fine on single card mode.
It could be another problem like the mother board. I would try and help the guy out by taking it back but I would be out of pocket to the tune of about £25 once fees and postage are taken into account.
Do you think I am right in refusing the return?
