GTX 980 problem, is there some reason for RMA?

Hi guys,

I am having GTX 980 from OCUK from 2014. Everything was fine until last week.

Had it simple OC in MSI Afterburner. 1500 Core, 3800 VRAM on 125% Power.
edit. was on that OC since new. working fine until last week.

From last week I had so many black screens and straight restarts afterwards.
Now I cant even have stable 1450 on Core with 3500 VRAM as basic.

When I put everything on stable it works "fine" but even on basic clocks when I play some games in 4K my computer restart. GPU seems to be more stable on 1080p with basic clocs but become unstable on them in 4K.

I can also forget about my 1500/3800 as that is not stable at all.

Is there some reasons to put it on RMA or ?

could be the latest drivers, my 980's are not overclocking so well lately for some reason

4K is more of a drain on everything and will pick out any weaknesses. Not saying it is the PSU but I would try and borrow another to rule it out.

Everything is fine now. Installed drivers from 18th of May. 1500/3800 100% stable as before. New drivers are dodgy.

I've been having crashes since the latest drivers too on a 980. Been fine up until about a week ago.

It was a driver issue (I was only getting it in Chrome) and there was a driver on the nvidia site that fixed it.

I had driver issues too, had to find a hotfix driver.
