I recently got a gsync monitor and I've been struggling with a weird problem. Every so often, usually every hour or two I get a 1-2 second stutter and the sound will loop.
No error in event viewer and no other side effect. Not specific to any game, and I've also noticed it in VLC player. I've tried about 9 different drivers, and different settings. The only thing that seems to stop this random stutter is to disable G-Sync. However it happens so randomly it is pretty hard to test and replicate. When the stutter happens though it is very obvious, and the GPU usage drops to 0% at the same time.
I think it might be my 980, but unsure if it's the monitor. Anyone else experience this problem?
