Hi All,

Simple question really, i currently have a reference 980 and have started to struggle with newer games on my 1440 ultra wide screen.

So i'm looking for some advice on the best bang for buck GPU at the moment, one thing to be aware of is i like quiet running so please don't go down the hair dryer route if possible.

Thanks for the advice :)

60hz is fine for me....Dell U3415W

Thanks chaps, I edited my post, i'm a 60hz gamer on a Dell U3415W

I didnt realise 1080s were noisey but i like this idea....1080ti just seems abit to expensive for me especially with my monitor.

Is the AMD quiet? I thought the last series ran hot?

Thanks guys, it looks like Vega is the best option for the money then...just need to decide between the 56 and the 64 now.
Is the 64 worth the extra £70 notes?

Thanks everyone for your input...I never expected to get so many replies.

After some consideration I've decided to go for a 1070.....while this may seem like a smaller upgrade I was able to pick one up new for £272 EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 SC Gaming.
Now i think for bang/buck comparison that might just be it...1080 would have been better as many of you have said but the cost jump is huge over this card.

I'm afraid i cant say other than it's legit. They come in stock on the Oct 19th and it's a US purchase although an international company.
The price also includes the import tax.
