GTX 990M

We shall be getting these, cost is about £3500 for Skylake laptop with huge spec and true GTX 980

Not sure I'd fancy carrying any laptop that could accomodate this sort of hardware very far. Can't imagine the battery life would be up to much with a 165W TDP on the graphics card alone either. :eek:
 
My laptop has a 980m 8Gb and it's loud as hell when gaming. It also churns out more heat than a small sun!
I shudder to think what this will be like? It'll either set your lap on fire or it'll be so big that it'll break your legs :)
 
yeah, that's bonkers on the price... with external GPU boxes being a thing you could just get any skylake laptop and a desktop 980ti for much less than 2k
its not like these 980 "laptops" are properly portable anyway, they are more like easy to carry desktops that a proper "laptop"
