im considering getting this - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-035-BG just now as it seems to be a pretty good deal to me. Im a bit of a novice when it comes to custom pcs but im having 2nd thoughts atm. The general feeling here it seems is that there will be better DX10 graphics cards in the near future from ATi and newer models as is always the way. Obviously the GTX series is the best just now but im intrested in what others think about how it will be rated later in the year? put simply to me looks like 'buy GTS to tide you over if your buying a new system then buy something else later in the year' or 'buy GTX if you wanna take a risk that this card will be any good at all later on this year'.

You guys obviously go through cards like a knife through hot butter but i dont plan on getting the latest thing every 6 months if the difference is neglible.

the GTX will last you a while (atleast a year) and will run all games maxed out if you have the CPU and RAM to go with it, if you have the money, go for it

There is nothing out there that a single GTX will struggle with at medium and high resolutions, its only when you get to insane resolutions that you need 2 or a more powerful card.

Frankly a GTX will be fine at anything 22" or below, no trouble, and higher.
