Hi all,

I have recently purchased a Gtx1060, I have slotted it in and understand I now have to power it to the PSU.

However my PSU (Corsair CS450M) does not have the correct cable to plug in. The gtx1060 has a female 6 pin plug on it and the PSU has two ports which say "6+2 pci-e & 4+4CPU". There is also another slot which says peripheral and Sata.

What do I need, new cables or a new PSU? I can't find the correct adapter which is both male.

Thank you!

have you got a similar cable like this?

different brand psu cable, but you get the idea the blue on the right plugs into the psu, the black is a 6+2, the +2 can be dislodged from the 6 pin connector so you can connect it to your gpu

That is exactly what I am looking for! But I can't find one online anywhere so started to think it didn't exist and perhaps I need a new PSU.

Any ideas where I could find one? Tried the usual places! :S

The images after that confuse it a little as they don't show the cable loop and appear to be slightly different from each other. But I'm gonna go for it, if it's wrong il just grab a new PSU.

Just the anxious wait for shipping to time from Hong Kong now!

Just a heads up.
Make sure that you buy the cable that is actually for Corsair CS450M or you'll be frying your system.
