When I first built my pc, with an oc of 4ghz on the cpu (ht off) and 720/1224/1452 on the card, I managed to break the 20k barrier on 3dmark06 but ever since then, I've never managed to replicate this. My sm2 and sm3 score were in the 8k region but these days the sm2 score are 1000 less. In fact I have managed to get 4ghz with ht on this morning(all hail snow) and my cpu scored much better but my card still can't break 20k. Any reasons why this is happening?
Before you ask, I know 3dmark06 isn't a game and all that so it's for my own personal satisfaction more than anything
. Oh and I want to beat my friend's score (he has a gtx 295 along with a q6600).
