Begin: i buy a new PC a few weeks back and it arrives at work where I and another IT tech builds it at work.
After arriving home and began playing CSS the computer just freezes completely. No error in the error log, just a complete freeze.
So, after trying to filter down all the different problems that it could be... changed ram, reformat on new hdd, reseated it all. When i tried my mates spare graphics card (some pci-e 256mb) CSS works completely and no crashes are incured.
As i thought it was a graphics card issue i tried 3 different drivers, updated bios settings with no luck - i sent the card back and after 'extensive testing' confirm that the card is faulty and send me a replacement... except when the new one came the same thing happened again and i'm now ready to throw my PC out of the window.
any ideas?
