i would also like to know this as i will be watercooling mine aswell.

also which is the best full cover block ?

You probably know that the 280 has ram chips on the backside of the card. In some full cover water block designs you keep the existing back plate when you disassemble the stock cooler, which is basically a heat spreader for the backside ram chips. So it depends on whether the particular water block screws into this back plate or uses its own. I know that the dtek unisink uses the default back plate, though this is a two part system with a universal water block, I would guess some full cover blocks might use the same fixing method. Sounds like you should check the manufacturers sites for fitting instructions. As far as I can tell the backside ram plate you talk about does not form any part of the loop, so it doesn't matter that it is made of alu. You could always just get some normal ram sinks for the backside chips.
