I'm having a major problem with crysis at the mo
I load it up no probs, but when the game has loaded and I'm on the map, the game will freezeup, I alt and tab out and its says programe is not repsonding.
And before when I tried it just froze and went back to desktop with no message.
Using official 182 drivers ( I think ) I'm not at home at mo so I can't check for deffinate, they are not the very latest tho. Plays everything else no probs,
Any ideas please ?

What's your OS?

If your using windows 7 only use the 1.2 patch. (don't use 1.2.1 as it can cause problems with win 7).

Also, download and install the latest drivers - if the above is not the case or if the problem still persists after installing/rolling back to patch 1.2.
 
I'm on vista 64
I have latest drivers ready to roll at home, I just never thought a set of drivers could cause this no to play

Which patch are you using?

It may be that the 1.2.1 patch doesn't like 64 bit vista either as i think the problem i described above is win 7 64 bit specific - so the 1.2.1 patch may have an issue with 64 bit vista too.

If you are using 1.2.1 it would definitley be worth reinstalling and trying 1.2
 
ive just installed 1.2 and its ok now
strange
ive played before without any patch and it was ok
