GTX460 Fan

Hi guys, MSI afterburner will not let me turn my fan to below 40% for some reason and its kinda noisy when im not even using it. Is there anyway i can lower it to about 20% when its idle without the use of afterburner?

Some cards can't go lower than a certain point. My 280 will only go down to 40% too.

Same with my 460, got it to 70% fanspeed in afterburner tho. I think you can only change it when temps increase

My Asus 470 does go down to 30 although i just keep its lowest speed to 35.

It justs enough to silence it and the temps are fine
