Guys....

I have a Palit GTX460 2GB.
Managed to pick up another 460 on the cheap but is an EVGA 1GB.

I have put them both in and connected with an Sli cable but no Sli option. I'm guessing the cards need to be identical for Sli?

Any way of tricking the board/OS/nVidia into thinking the cards are the same?

Ta.

Nah mine doesn't :/ Says it on the box though.

But they would need to be the same speeds and the same vRAM.

Have you tried plugging in just the EVGA to see if it works?

Different speeds are ok, as theyll downclock to the speed of the slowest card. But mixing a pair with different amounts of memory will not work.

The EVGA works perfect on its own. Its running @ 720Mhz and the Palit is @ 700Mhz.

Clock speed is not an issue then its the vRAM? Surely there must be somthing out there software wise to mask the Palit at only 1GB?
