Hi
I am looking to build a new Pc for gaming, but I am on a tight budget of around £575. A friend sugested the GTX460 1GB, but this does not fit into my price range,
However the GTX460 768Mb Superclocked does just about fit. Is it worth me getting the overclocked version, or should i just go for the non-clocked?

here is my current build: http://i.cubeupload.com/fj1ALg.png
I am very, very open to any of your suggestions as to what I should change/ improve and where i should be looking to save money. (i realy cannot afford to spend ANY more than I currently am.)

thank you for your time.

Price of the GTX460 1GB at OcUK (and a few other places) has rised quite a bit basically to at £155-£160+ (possibly due to 6850 price has rised, so Nvidia put the price up as well), but if you look around, there are still other places are selling at from as low as £140.

Try to find either a cheap 6850 or GTX460 1GB from a reliable etailor...if that fails, I guess you really have no choice but to fall back to a GTX460 768MB.

Your mobo should come with sata cables. You can get the cheapest dvi cable. That saves around £15 so with that money you can get an evga 1 gb superclocked sadly this deal is from a competitor.

Why are you getting Sata 3 cables for a sata 2 hdd? If you can get a better psu as this will save money in the long run. To save another £10 keep posting on these forums , get 250 posts and get free dlivery
