gtx460 wont overclock!

hi again guys, sorry to be a pain, just downloaded nvidia ntune and it says maximum core bus 700mhz (which is stock) and memory bus 1800mhz (again stock) and it wont let me increase?? any ideas??

Use msi afterburner to change the clocks, and a combination oh heaven, occt and games to test them. Ntuner is rubbish.

i dont understand afterburner lol, wouldnt know where to start.
core clock~1800mhz
shader clock~902mhz
memory clock~451mhz

can any1 elaborate lol??

my core clock will go upto 2340mhz, shader clock will go upto 1055mhz and memory clock will go upto 530mhz, surely something is wrong here?

looks like the core clock as being read as the shader clock and vice versa

I would send it back but maybe some others can give you some help

Op, did a search for 460 issues and found this thread, read the comments.


Seems to be a fairly common problem, looks like you might need an RMA.
