I have a 4.6ghz Q9650 running a gtx580 atm (1.5gb), looking to add another in sli, do you reckon the chip will handle it or would i be better upgrading to a 3930?

sorry it was me being slack tis a 580, I recently changed the 470 for the 580

Can i chime in here as the thread refers to my question.
i want to replace my gtx 470 card with a faster one but need this to be a worthwhile upgrade. Not sure which card to go for that would make the upgrade worthwhile performance wise.
example 570, 580 or the new 680 anything recommended?

Exactly what I was thinking
Unfortunately a [email protected] has just got to be on an Intel based board (probably P45) which won't do SLi. There's no way in this world you'd get that sort of immense overclock on any of the Nvidia chipset based skt 775 boards.
