GTX480 reapply TIM guide

For all the new 480 owners this is a way to lower temps by around 3-5C from stock! Obviously commonsense prevails if your not sure about doing this & or warranty issues..........

Well my GTX480 arrived today and I thought about doing this but my temps seem fine.

At idle on 35% fan I'm sat at 47deg and max out at 70deg in both TDU:2 and Black Ops.

OP have you tried this yet ?

not necessarily. But in the case of the factory, too little would be none at all!
The only reason i would buy an EVGA card is to be able to reapply the TIM without voiding warranty
