Hi all, I hope someone out there can shed some light on a problem I have. Why would a brad new gtx480 stop "being found" ? Nothing has been done to the mobo or anything else, it just disappeared. It still has power and the fan is spinning as usual. I have it running in sli. Ocuk built the machine.

Have you done the obvious thing and pulled the 2nd card from the system and checked each card works individually?

Doing this will also make sure you have got them both plugged in correctly.

Did you add the second 480 or did you buy it SLI equipped from new.

I have heard that some forum members have had issues when upgrading to SLI, they have had to format and re-install windows to solve any bugs.

What PSU are you running...is it up to the task of powering 2 480's?

Hi Farmer, i have swapped them around. When i did neither cards were found even the one that is found on the 'top' slot isnt found in the 'lower' slot. The card that works in the top slot is the EVGA and the card that doesnt work anywhere is ASUS.
Does this mean the GPU is faulty or the mobo? both are brand new from ocuk.

Thanks for your advice
