Got a Gigabyte GTX560ti about 2 weeks ago and everything works fine. The thing is when i game like on BFBC2 it goes extremely loud. But when idle its very quiet.
So i checked the fan settings and it idles at 40% and goes to around 52% when gaming for a while, and also the top of my case feels quite hot. So i changed the fan settings to manual and keep it at 75 %. It doesnt even go any louder and the top of pc is never hot, also when gaming the sound it makes has dropped dramatically.
Just asking is it ok to keep the fan spinning this fast? and will it shorten the lifespan of it?
System: Amd Phenom II x6 1090t, OCZ 500W, Gigabyte gtx560ti OC,8GB DDR3 1333Mhz, Xigmatek asgard
