Currently running at 1900*1200 but my GTX560Ti seems to be dying on me so have to look at replacing it soon. Ideally want something that'd be able to play most of the current games at high settings at reasonable frame rates.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Would getting a GTX580 second hand be a good upgrade or perhaps something else? Ideally not looking to spend more than £250-£290.

At the moment for that budget i would suggest either a GTX670 or a HD7950.

However, there is a slight chance the prices might come down a little when the GTX770 and GTX780 get released soon.

Is there an ETA for those new cards yet, or any idea when we might see the old gen cards come down in price? If it's worth waiting a month or so then it might be a better idea, or picking up a GTX670 second hand from the mm.
